Our Mission

At Rebound, we work with families trying to recover and rebuild after experiencing the devastating effects of trauma.

These families are the most susceptible to continuing cycles of abuse, neglect, poverty, and homelessness unless there is some intervention.

We walk alongside kids and parents on the road to health and restoration.

Connecting
Families often suffer because of a lack of connection. Social isolation and lack of support from other adults make it difficult for families to gain traction during crises. At Rebound, we foster supportive relationships and access community help in need.

Empowering
We are committed to giving families the tools they need to succeed. Rebound offers year-round programs for parents and kids that teach health in life's social, emotional, and physical areas.

Restoring
We seek long-term health and stability for our families. As we walk with them, we strive to restore homes where family members know they are loved and supported, where trust is present, and where parents and kids can thrive as part of the greater community.

Our Values

We believe in rising above together as we lean into challenges and lean on one another.

We believe that there is a science behind hope and safety.

We are committed to seeking out learning opportunities and evidence-based interventions in an ever-expanding effort to improve our service of families.

We celebrate community members because of their differences, not in spite of them.

We are responsive to the diverse spiritual needs of the community.

We believe in the power of healing at the individual, family, and community levels.

We work to empower underserved communities.

We believe that human connection is essential to the healing and empowerment journey.

We are for opening doors wide to create the space for support, hope, and healing.

We are for embracing vulnerability in the safety of a judgment and stigma-free community.

Our Logo

Rebound Families works to connect, empower, and restore vulnerable children and families. Our logo reflects our efforts. The house shape represents each home we serve. As we connect with vulnerable families, we build relationships of trust without judgment. Rebound Families act as a bridge that connects each home to other supports throughout the community that strengthen each home. The tree inside the house reminds us of the individual families we support. Many families approach us in fear and vulnerability due to their traumas. Often, there is a feeling of weakness, hopelessness, and loneliness. We strive to empower each family to the point that they thrive! Empowerment is shown as the leaves and roots grow upward and outward, supporting the community at large. Strong Families make strong communities. We feel blessed to connect, empower and restore each family we interact with.

“ I believe in the innate goodness of people. Recent events have underscored how deeply we need one another. Perhaps we are at our strongest when we lean for a time on others. Communities that reach out and connect, empower, and restore can make all the difference. Rebound’s mission statement and the services it provides our community rings true to me.”
